You can even return open items
The Target return policy for opened items is very generous. You can return your Target purchase that has already been opened as long as it has been less than 90 days.
If you already removed the Tags, no problem!
Target will still accept your item for a return even if you don’t have the tags or packaging. As long as they can verify your purchase (account lookup or via card lookup) and it has been less than 90 days from the purchase date, they will give you a full refund.
Clearance items can be returned
Any items that you purchased on Clearance can be returned for a full refund within 90 days. Clearance items are not eligible for a price adjustment.
You can get refunded if an item goes on sale
If an item goes on sale at Target within 14 days of purchase, you can bring your receipt to the store, and you will receive back the difference in the price you paid vs. the sales price.
