What is the return policy for pillows and bedding?
(Returned pillows and bedding cannot be resold.) There are no charges for restocking or return shipping. Once we confirm receipt, you’ll receive a full refund. The funds can only be returned to the original form of payment. Please note: Our sleep trial is limited to one return of each product type per household.
How easy is it to return an avocado mattress?
THE RETURN PROCESS A member of our Sustainability Team will reach out and help coordinate a donation and full refund. You do not have to repackage your mattress and ship it back. For all other eligible returns, including toppers, we may ask you to repackage the item and drop it off at a local donation center.

For others, it takes a little longer. Depending on the type and condition of mattress you’re transitioning from, your body might need time to adjust to its gentle firmness.
Step 2: Troubleshooting
Is your mattress too hot, too firm, or too bouncy? Whatever you’re experiencing, our Returns Team has heard it all or experienced it themselves. So before we proceed with your return, we will ask you a few questions and provide you with a few tips and tricks to ensure that you are getting the most out of your new Avocado purchase.
Step 3: Take Photos
We donate all our returned items to one of our 1,500 nationwide donation partners, and we have a 95% donation success rate. So it’s important for us to ensure that each and every item is still in like-new condition before we coordinate the donation.
Step 4: Coordinate Your Donation
Now that the Returns Team has gathered all of your photos and additional feedback, our Sustainability Team will assist you with coordinating the donation.
Step 5: Verify and Refund
Once the donation has been completed, we ask that you send us verifying information, which your Sustainability Expert will go over with you. As soon as that information is received, we will get your full refund issued within 72 business hours.
