Continuation of review titled "Epic Failures at Every Turn" 2/24/22 To note, I began this process AT DELIVERY and had it to the Carvana-approved mechanic 3 days later (earliest opening). I didn't wait for months or even weeks.
DO NOT trust them
Unbelievable poor customer service. Took money for car before delivery contrary to their policy and when I cancelled order spoke to three people to refund money without any action. So far have waited over a week for them to refund my money that they took illegally. Litigation pending!
Poor service after the sale
Initiated a purchase and selected Carvana Care extended warranty, decided on a different vehicle and after signing realized that selection didn't carry over. Tried since the pickup to add the warranty, you would think they would happily take more of your money, but no, they want to make the process much harder.

I received my Honda Pilot with one surprise issue. The inside of the lift gate wasn't painted and the driver from carvana told us not to worry that he would mark it and send it in and it would be fixed. Epilogue: Finally gave up after 6 delivery delays
I've posted about this before and I'm not going to bother going into too much detail because there are apparently lots of people who just downvote every post about a bad experience with Carvana, but to close the loop, I just finally gave up.
Almost a year
Well after almost a year I'm still waiting for my tags. I've even got the AZ Attorney General Involved. My paper work has been lost 3 times. It took 6 months for Carvana to admit it was their fault. Needless to say I would never use Carvana again. I bought my car Nov of 2020 fyi. My expected tag date is late Oct 2021.
Got my car today
I ordered my 2012 Honda CR-V on Friday, was scheduled today, only got delayed an hour (I got lucky I think) my husband is a mechanic by trade so we took it to his shop and did a full inspection. So far, all it needs is a slight alignment. Otherwise I’ll update in 7 days and tell y’all how it goes!
Car Delivery Delayed - Not very believable
I bought a vehicle off Carvana which was supposed to be delivered today @ 4:30pm. At 3:15pm, the driver texts me asking for selfie, license pic, and proof of insurance. No problem, sent over. At 4:00pm, she texts me saying that they were doing a "last inspection" and found that they need to replace the front tires due to lack of tread.

Ive waited so long to write this up. I wanted to make sure I was completely done dealing with Carvana before I wrote this because I was convinced that they would mess up at literally every step and I was very correct about that. This may be long, but ya know what? So was my time dealing with this “business”. I’ll include a tldr at the bottom.
Update: Finished with everything
This is an update to my previous post here. Ordered a truck on carvana, went through the paperwork, e signed everything, all good. 2 weeks later, truck is at my house, even though I live 4 hours away from the nearest hub (read: I live in the middle of nowhere, about 20 miles south of the geodetic center of North America. Yeah, nowhere).
Oh the lies you will get told- recieved damaged car
2 months ago I purchased a vehicle through Carvana. With this purchase I was also selling carvana my daily driver at the time. The delivery was delayed so I was given the option to continue or switch my purchase to a different vehicle; I switched.
Everything going great so far
This is my first time using Carvana. I ordered a 2020 Nissan Titan, which is a difficult car to find here (worst selling truck in the US, lol, but they're actually really good trucks). The price was better than average for my area, and it's fully loaded and has less than 2k miles.
Had some issues but it worked out OK
Got a really great deal on a low mileage german car. I was very surprised that they didn't verify my income in any way at all whatsoever. Just a few button clicks and we were done. Picked it up from the vending machine the next day - which was a pretty cool experience.
Great experience selling to Carvana
Just sold my Jeep last Sunday, great experience selling and offer was $3000 higher than carmax. Got the offer, submitted paperwork that day and approved for scheduling that day as well. Scheduled pickup two days out. They showed up on time, took a quick test drive, signed papers and loaded up the Jeep.
