Are there knock off Leupold scopes?
All Leupold riflescopes are given an individual serial number. Counterfeit scopes often use a fake serial number, all identical serial numbers, or incorrect numbering convention. If you find a scope that is suspect, simply write down the serial number and call 1-800-LEUPOLD to ask if the scope is authentic.

Can you return a product that has been mounted?
Any products that show signs of use or that have been mounted will not be accepted for returns or refunded. Shipping and handling fees will not be refunded, unless returns are for defective or damaged products, or the wrong product was shipped.

How many impacts does a Leupold scope survive?
Each scope design has to survive 5,000 impacts on the Punisher, Leupold’s recoil simulation machine. The force of each impact is 3x the recoil of a .308 rifle. If the scope doesn’t perform in any way during the tests, we make adjustments to the design and test it again.
How deep is Leupold gas seal?
Our proprietary gas blend and seals are tested to a 33-foot depth and a multitude of pressure changes.
