Vaccination Card or Negative COVID test will be required to pick up online orders or enter the bookstore. The Main Campus Bookstore will be available for Spring semester purchases by walk-in/in-store purchases and by using our website. When are books sold at West Regional Center?

How to rent a textbook?
Please be aware of the following rental conditions: 1 You can rent textbooks in-store or online using cash, credit card or Financial Aid Bookstore Credit as appropriate. In addition to making your rental payment, you must provide a valid credit card number which will remain securely on file for future rental transactions. 2 You can neatly highlight and mark in a rental textbook as long as it remains in sellable condition. 3 If you decide to purchase your rental textbook, you must do so during the first two weeks of classes to avoid additional fees. 4 You must return all rental textbooks, either in person or by mail (insured shipping is recommended) to the bookstore location from which you rented by the last day of exams in order to avoid replacement fees. 5 If you decide to purchase the rental textbook after the first two weeks of classes or if you do not return the rental textbook by the last day of exams, your credit card will be charged for 75% of the new book price plus a 7.5% processing fee.

After the payment deadline for the term and before the first day of the term or in the case of course cancellation by the College, you may receive 100% tuition refund.

Students can accomplish this exchange in person only by visiting Enrollment Central (Records and Registration) at the Main Campus or at the Regional Centers. The 15-week to 10-week course exchange must be completed by the close of business on the 7th calendar day of the 15-week term.

Students with documented extenuating medical complications, or personal emergency or situation such as the death of a close relative, can use the Special Request Form for Student Financial Account Adjustment (available in the Electronic Forms section of MyCCP) to petition to receive the 50% tuition for the course that was dropped. Adding a course after the first course meeting requires signature (s) from the professor and/or department head as per registration policy.
Is a refund based on the date of receipt of notification?
You are liable for all charges incurred, and your eligibility for future financial aid could be affected. Refunds are based upon the date of receipt of notification (Drop/Add or Registration Form, Withdrawal Form, or online transaction) without regard to reason for withdrawal.

eBooks are refundable within 14 days of the customer accessing the content, or 30 days after the purchase is made (without customer accessing the content), whichever occurs first.
What to include when returning a refund?
Include a copy of your confirmation email or order details with your securely packaged return. If you don’t have this information, include a note with your name, email address, phone number, and order number. Your refund could be delayed if we can’t identify the original purchase details.
