Menstrual cups are personal hygiene medical devices and may not be returned or exchanged. All sales are final.
Can you give away a menstrual cup?
Medical grade silicone is derived from silica, which is found in sand. Silicone is made through a chemical process but from natural materials, so the ash left behind isn't harmful to the environment. The best method would be to get a good outdoor fire going and toss your cup in, letting the fire do its thing.
Can I return my June cup?
For sanitary reasons and to keep our products reasonably priced, we cannot offer returns, refunds or exchanges on period underwear, wash, wipes, the June Cup Firm, disc or the sanitizer. However, if the product you received was damaged or faulty, get in touch at hello@thejunecup.com and we'll make it right.
When should you throw out DivaCup?
Your cup should be emptied at least twice a day. Reusable menstrual cups are durable and can last for 6 months to 10 years with proper care. Throw away disposable cups after removal.
What can I do with my old DivaCup?
You can chop up (or grind down) your menstrual disc/cup and add to the soil of a potted plant or scatter in your garden! Check with your local hospital. Hospitals use instruments all the time that are made of medical-grade silicone and eventually, they will need to be disposed of.
Can you use someone else's DivaCup?
Can I share my menstrual cup with someone else? While it is not suggested by most companies, there are means of sanitizing a menstrual cup for sharing. Do this at your own risk.

Can menstrual cup damage cervix?
Even though there have been rumors about it, there is currently no known evidence of menstrual cups damaging your cervix. If your cup is the right size and in the right place, there should be no issues of pain or problems with your cup getting stuck to your cervix.
Can you wear DivaCup overnight?
Yes! You can sleep with a menstrual cup in! In fact, compared to bulky pads or tampons, many DivaCup users prefer it. Tampons should never be worn for more than the recommended time (usually between 4 to 8 hours); the DivaCup can be worn for up to 12 hours.
How often should you boil your DivaCup?
We can't emphasize this enough – boil your cup for 20 minutes every time BEFORE and AFTER every cycle, rather than 10 minutes. You can also soak your cup in clear vinegar for an hour, and always remember to boil your cup for 20 minutes afterwards to remove any residue!
How often should you buy a new DivaCup?
Menstrual cups can last for several years. We recommend replacing your period cup every 1-2 years. You should replace yours if it has any tears, holes, or just isn't in good condition anymore.
