What is great clip?
Great Clips stores your profile information in a highly secure database. We use it to connect you to your favorite salons across all your devices using the Great Clips app. In the future, we will add more great features!
How to change the star on my great clips?
On the My Great Clips screen, tap on Edit, and then tap on the delete symbol on the left side of the bar. Or, on the Salon Info screen, tap on My Great Clips, the star will change from orange to white.
How to get great clips on my phone?
On your phone, use our iPhone or Android Great Clips app. On your computer, go to the home page of our website ( greatclips.com) and click the Check-In button. Or, visit the salon locator page, enter your postal code, choose a convenient location, and click the icon on the map. Then, tell us your name, how many people will be getting haircuts, and come on over!

What does online check in mean?
Online Check-In lets us know you're on your way, so it's best to head right over right after you're done checking in. Once you arrive, let the stylists know you're there, and they’ll confirm your information and finish your check in.
What happens if you are on the waitlist at a hair salon?
Please note that if you request a specific stylist upon arriving at the salon, your wait time may be longer.
What is estimated wait time?
The estimated wait time is based on the current conditions in the salon. As customers check in and are served, and as the team members change shifts, your estimated wait time adjusts accordingly.
Is Great Clips a franchise?
These are communicated in various ways via printed postcards received through the mail, broadcast television and radio, and digital ads. Since Great Clips is franchised, salons are individually-owned and operated, and therefore discounts will take place at various times for the salons in your area.
Does Great Clips have a hair salon?
All Great Clips salons offer haircuts for the entire family. Additional haircut and haircare services include a shampoo, a blow dry, or styling such as an updo or French braids. We also offer perms at select salons. Please contact your salon to check the services offered.
