At Vortex Refrigeration, we strive to provide you with the quality products and outstanding service you expect. If you are not 100% satisfied with your purchase, you can return it to us within 7 days of delivery as long as it is in accordance with the following return policies and procedures listed below.
Can you return a Vortex scope?
We will return repaired product to you at no charge (ship method at our discretion) as part of the service. Turnaround times will vary, but we do our best to return your optics to you quickly! Product repair or replacement decisions are made solely at the discretion of Vortex Optics Technicians.
Does Vortex offer a lifetime warranty?
The Vortex Worldwide Lifetime VIP Warranty covers your purchase worldwide through the distributor or dealer in the country where you purchased your product.
How long is Vortex warranty?
Vortex's turnaround times are typically a couple weeks but can vary during the fall and winter months due to the influx in repair claims. If you have any questions on how to fill out the form, Vortex Optics staff are always eager to help you and can be reached at 1-800-426-0048.
Is Vortex an American company?

The answer is yes – you're still covered even if you paint it.

Where is Vortex made?
ChinaMade in China, But the Good Made in China Like the Philippines, Japanese engineers and optics experts supervise and staff the Vortex scopes production facilities in China to verify adherence to Vortex's high standards. The bulk of Vortex's rifle scopes production occurs in China.
Do vortex scopes have serial numbers?
On most items the serial number will be on the bottom. If you can't find it just leave that line blank and we'll fill it in if applicable once we receive your item.
Is Swarovski lifetime warranty?
For Swarovski in the US and the Swarovski Online Shop in the US, a one-year warranty is offered for Swarovski Jewelry and Accessories and a two-year warranty for all other products. ANY WARRANTY IMPLIED BY STATE LAW ON THIS PRODUCT IS ALSO LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE LENGTH OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY.
What is a return to zero optic?
Return-to-zero, inverted (RZI) is a method of mapping for transmission. The two-level RZI signal has a pulse (shorter than a clock cycle) if the binary signal is 0, and no pulse if the binary signal is 1.

Returns
You have 14 days to return an item from the date you received the item. Up to 30% restocking fee applies only on unused items.
Refunds
Once we receive your item, we will inspect it and notify you that we have received your returned item. There are no refunds for damaged goods. We can offer replacement at certain % off. We will immediately notify you on the status of your refund after inspecting the item.
Shipping
You will be responsible for paying for your own shipping costs for returning your item.

Products shipped from the USA out of the country are considered Gray Market Products and are not covered by this warranty.

The VIP Warranty does not cover loss, theft, deliberate damage or cosmetic damage that does not hinder the performance of the product.
Does Vortex Optics have a warranty?
You can count on the VIP Warranty for all Vortex Optics riflescopes, prism scopes, red dots, rangefinders, binoculars, spotting scopes, tripods and monoculars. The VIP Warranty does not cover loss, theft, deliberate damage or cosmetic damage that does not hinder the performance of the product.
