Does Birdy GREY run small?
Most of our gowns tend to run a touch large, so if you float between sizes based on the size chart, you may want to order a size down.
Does Birdy GREY offer Try ons?
Not at this time… but it's something we're hoping to offer in the future. Please sign up for our email list to be the first to know when we do!
Is Birdy GREY ethical?
At Birdy Grey, we only work with vendors whose standards meet our ethical guidelines. Any item that you order that has a Birdy Grey label (dress, swatches, shoes, etc.) means that it has been produced and manufactured by a vetted and authorized vendor.
When should bridesmaids get their dresses?
When considering delivery and alterations, then, bridesmaids should order their gowns at least six months before the wedding, meaning they should start shopping at least seven months out.

Can you steam Birdy GREY dresses?
I got so many compliments on the bridesmaid dresses the day of and they were easy to steam out the morning of! Birdy grey was also great with returns and exchanges, and made it very easy for my bridesmaids to find whichever dress fit them best.
Do bridesmaids dresses run small?
Bridesmaid dresses run small, anywhere from 1-3 sizes too small. Don't be surprised if you end up having to order a size larger than your normal clothing. Again, it's not you and we can assure you of that.
Who pays for the bridesmaids dresses?

According to etiquette, each attendant is expected to cover the costs of their entire ensemble, from their dress (or their jumpsuit, or whatever look they're rocking) all the way down to their accessories. That goes even though the bride traditionally picks the attire.

The single most important thing to do when you're looking for a wedding guest dress, is to stick to the dress code on the invitation. If it's casual or semi-casual then it's unlikely you'll be able to get away with a peach satin bridesmaid dress.

Can I cancel a birdy GREY order?
We are unable to make any changes to your order after it's placed. However, you can reach out to our Customer Experience team, and depending on how far along your order is in the fulfillment process, we can request to cancel it so you can place a new one with all of your items.
Does Show Me Your Mumu have free returns?
Returns and Refunds Items must have all tags attached and in its original packaging. Items must not be worn, altered, washed and free of any make-up, stains, spray tan residue, pet hair or floor debris. Items returned in poor condition will be returned to the customer.
How do I return something to Lulus?
Login here with your email and order number or account information! Follow the steps to initiate your return within 45 days from when your order was delivered. Place your return form or a piece of paper with your order number written on it inside your package.
How long does it take for an egift card to return a dress?
If your dress doesn't work out, you can return or exchange it for an eGift Card within 45-days of its delivery. Please note; we cannot add funds to your eGift Card to purchase a full-priced dress.
Can you return a dress on sale?
Returns and exchanges are just as easy for dresses purchased on sale! If your dress doesn't work out, you can return or exchange it for a different size within 45-days of its delivery. Exchanges are for equal or lesser value; we cannot exchange a dress purchased at a sale price for a full-priced dress.
Where does my refund go?
Any order returned for a refund, that was purchased using an eGift Card, will be refunded back to the eGift Card used to make the purchase.
What if I got my eGift Card as an Exchange?
If you received your eGift Card from an exchange, you have 90 days from the date your first order was placed to receive a refund on your original form of payment.
Can all eGift Cards be refunded to a different form of payment?
No, only eGifts Cards created as an exchange may be disabled so the original form of payment can be refunded. Please note; the original order must be within 90 days.

So ok, you'll receive your dress much sooner than that. However, if you need an exchange and your size is on backorder, it can take up to 3 months to replenish inventory + time for alterations. Avoid potential drama and just order early, bird.
