Please inspect the firearm carefully before taking possession from your dealer. If there are any issues email us and we can arrange to have the firearm returned. After we receive and inspect the firearm you will be given a choice of a refund or a replacement if available.

If your package arrives damaged or you received the wrong item email us immediately so that we can resolve the problem as quickly as possible.

Are there additional in-store fees associated with the firearm background check?

Yes. Depending on the store location selected for firearm pick-up and final transfer (e.g. CA, CO, NV, OR, TN, UT, VA, etc.), additional state background check fees may apply.

What if my background check is denied? Can I have my spouse, relative, or another individual pick up the firearm?

No. If your background check is denied, the purchase price of the firearm will be refunded to the original buyer (a restocking fee may apply) at the selected store location. Another person picking up a firearm on behalf of a prohibited individual is committing a “straw purchase”. This is a very serious federal crime punishable by a fine of up to $250,000.00 and 10 years in prison.

How much does it cost to transfer firearms to Sportsman's Warehouse?

Such transfers are subject to an FFL transfer fee, applicable taxes (if required), background check (if required), background check fee (if any), and waiting period (if any). Firearms will only be transferred in accordance with all Sportsman’s Warehouse policies. The FFL transfer fee is $50.00 for non-California locations. The FFL transfer fee for California locations is $100.00.
