How long does it take to get a return authorization number?

In many cases, instructions will be sent within 24 hours, but some brands may take up to 5 business days to issue the RGA (return authorization) number, and then we will email you the return instructions.

What is an RGA number?

An RGA (Returned Goods Authorization) number is simply a way for us to track return transactions. When you request a return, we will process your request and issue an RGA number with your return instructions. This information will be sent to you by email. No returns will be accepted without an RGA number.

How long does it take to get a credit back from a warehouse?

Upon inspection approval, you will be refunded and notified via email. We estimate credit will be issued within 5-10 business days from the day the item is received back.

Do you need an RGA number to return merchandise?

All merchandise that is returned must have an RGA number.

Do you get prepaid labels for free returns?

If your brand qualifies for free returns, we will issue prepaid labels and include those in your emailed instructions (please see list of brands included in our FREE return program in the FAQ below). For all other brands, you will be responsible for shipping fees back to us.

Is clearance discontinued?

Unfortunately, no, clearance items are confirmed discontinued goods by the manufacturer. They are discounted in price and considered final sales. We state "non-returnable" on both the product page as well as the confirmation email for clearance items to prevent any confusion or issues.

Can we be held responsible for labor costs?

We will not be held responsible for any labor costs, which occur as the result of the installation of wrong or defective parts.

How does a gift certificate work?

Each gift certificate comes with a code that can be applied to your purchase upon checkout via the Coupon Code Entry. When you redeem your gift certificate by applying the "certificate code", the balance remaining on your gift card will be automatically deducted from your cart subtotal.

How long does it take to return a product from a sandbox?

We accept returns within 30 days of receipt of the product. Items cannot be installed or altered if you wish to return them.

What is the billing name of 1stoplighting?

We accept major credit cards as well as debit cards with the Visa or MasterCard symbol. We also offer PayPal checkout. The billing name is 1StopLighting or Belami, Inc.

Can you use coupon codes on a quote?

Please note that only one coupon code can be used per order. Some products have a maximum discount set, and the full coupon amount may not be able to be applied. Coupons cannot be applied to Quoted orders - quotes sent by our sales team are final prices. We will show the total discount percentage applied to each item when a coupon is applied.

Does 1stoplighting have a warranty?

Horrible customer service

Horrible customer service! Bought a fan that can't be installed. Tried to return it within 16 days normal 30-day return policy. Tried to call but put on hold for almost 45 minutes with stupid music playing and jokes being told? I also got online to try and have this thing return and was told I never bought it.

Horrid customer service! It's been over a month since I ordered a $1,000+ light fixture and it has not been delivered even though I was told it was in stock with a 3-day guaranteed delivery time.

Customer service is fantastic!

I ordered all new ceiling fans for each room in my home. Unfortunately, it took us forever to get to having them installed due to other issues. Once they were installed, just one of the led light panels didn't function properly. The fan itself wasn't broken, just the light assembly.

DISHONEST COMPANY

The light we bought was nothing like the image shown on the website so we decided to return it. They never sent us a return label like they said they would so we paid for our own and sent it to the return address that was on the email that they sent us. They received the package (according to the tracking number) and never sent us our refund.
